Fire Up Your Holiday Weekend with this Easy Recipe

If you’re like most, the 4th of July holiday is a time to spend with family and friends, maybe getting out of town or just relaxing at home on a staycation. If you find yourself needing a little extra kick in the morning after some late-night celebrations, we’ve got you. Fire up your morning with our signature Firecracker Coffee recipe that you can enjoy at the perfect temperature all morning long with your self-heating temperature control mug. Don’t worry, it’s quick, easy and you probably already have the ingredients in your cupboard.

Start by brewing your favorite blend of coffee, you can play with flavored blends like vanilla or try cinnamon for some extra spice! 

We’re partial to using a french press or pour over as it really brings out the natural coffee flavor and aroma of flavored coffees, but of course any way you brew will do. And remember, a cup of coffee is only as good as the temperature in which it is served.

Next, pour equal amounts of Fireball cinnamon whiskey (or any other cinnamon flavored liqueur) and Kahlúa coffee liqueur into your Muggo. Then add your freshly brewed coffee to fill your Muggo until it is about 3/4 of the way full. Top with whipped cream and a dash of cinnamon as the final touch. Set your Muggo to your favorite temperature and enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz.  Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey
  • 1 oz. Kahlúa Coffee Liqueur
  • Approx. 8oz. of freshly brewed coffee
  • Whipped cream
  • Ground Cinnamon
Directions:

  1. Brew your favorite coffee.
  2. Pour equal parts of Fireball cinnamon whiskey and Kahlúa coffee liqueur into your Muggo
  3. Add approximately 8 ounces of fresh brewed coffee, stir 
  4. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with ground cinnamon
  5. Set the temperature on your self-heating coffee mug and enjoy!
